Hays Recruitment has partnered up with a trade and development company in Toronto, ON. Our client is looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role offers the possibility of extension/permanency and follows a hybrid working model.

Your new role

Assisting department managers to handle sales related administrative work, including invoicing for payment, inventory control, documentation of purchasing and receivables, and other general duties in supplying value for service to customers within an assigned group of accounts.

Preparation of documents reflecting trade contracts, purchases, returns, damaged material etc.
Invoicing and Payment (600-800 invoices/month) and ensuring proper posting to ECC accounting system
Ensure appropriate posting to ECC system.
Follow up with contracts signing/countersigning, monitor A/R status and chase payments;
Respond to and follow up sales, purchase enquiries.
Support Supervisor and Managers providing expertise in the efficient administration

What you will need to succeed

Strong Excel skills a must
University degree or college diploma or equivalent in formal education and experience
Excellent administrative and control skills
Solid understanding of contract details and procedures to be observed under corporate guidelines
Flexible and able to work effectively within a variety of situations
Proficient use of computer systems in controlling processes

Candidates with strong Excel skills will be considered.
