Who We Are Looking For:

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) the Housing Manager is accountable to ensure the efficient and effective application of property management procedures within the Community Housing Department. To provide supervision, direction and training to community housing staff and to delegate appropriate authority and responsibility. To participate with the CAO and other Managers in the overall management of the department.

Some Key Duties:

  • Administer the housing program to ensure that properties are maintained to a standard sufficient to meet the objectives of Wabasca-Desmarais Housing Authority and within the guidelines as set out for the program by Alberta Housing.
  • Implement and monitor all procedures required for the efficient and effective operation of the department, updating and making changes as required.
  • Keep the CAO informed of events of a significant nature and of the general operations of the department.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Certified Housing Professional Certificate
  • Office Administration Certificate is an asset
  • Housing Experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to speak and understand Cree is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
