Our client is seeking a Senior Environmental Technical Lead to support their growing Quebec operations, which provides environmental science and project management services to the insurance and risk management markets. The position will involve working with the team members to direct chemical spill mitigation, delineation, remediation, and documentation to support clean ups and file closure. Candidates can reside in Quebec City, Laval, Drummondville or Trois Rivieres.Role Requirements:Degree in Science or Engineering (Environmental or Earth Sciences preferred) or related diploma with applicable experience.A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the environmental field with at least 3 years of project management experience.Experience in soil and groundwater remediation projects including delineation, monitoring and management.Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project management.Successfully managing and directing field staff is a must.Strong verbal and written communication skills in French is required, strong English communication is an asset.Experience with communicating with clients, regulators and other involved stakeholders.A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the province of Quebec.
