Director of Business Solutions

Under the leadership of the Vice-President, the Director of Business Solutions will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of IT projects in addition to contributing to the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives in terms of technology.

Responsibilities :
  • The IT Director will have to oversee a multidisciplinary team: Analysts, Project Managers and Delivery Managers.
  • Develop and lead IT business strategies and participate in budget planning and monitoring;
  • Ensure the implementation of standards, policies and procedures in order to optimize the performance of solutions;
  • Ensure the resolution of problems related to computer systems;
  • Work in collaboration with business lines to deliver technological solutions and project initiatives tailored to the needs and in line with the company’s vision;
  • Identify opportunities to improve and optimize these systems;
  • Mobilize employees to achieve performance objectives by creating a favorable work environment;
  • Manage the performance cycle of its employees and support them in their professional development.
Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on IT or computer science or a related field;
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience;
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in managing a team of more than 10 people;
  • Proficiency in all aspects of project management and relevant experience in project management;
  • Ability to communicate one’s point of view with the company’s management;
  • Be proactive and customer service oriented;
  • Be an agent of positive change;
  • Demonstrate leadership;
  • Collaborative team player;
  • Adaptability, flexibility and versatility in a growing environment.
Language :
  • Bilingualism essential (spoken and written French-English).
