Our client, a reputable full-service national firm is seeking a Legal Assistant - Floater, to assist in their team of legal professionals.

About the Job

  • Ensure precise drafting, proofreading, and formatting of legal and general documents
  • Handle the preparation, filing, and serving of legal documents for court
  • Organize schedules, arrange meetings, and manage travel plans
  • Create and manage a filing system using iManage (DMS)
  • Familiarity with billing procedures and monthly preparation of client accounts
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and external contacts

What You Bring

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as working as a Litigation Legal Assistant, or Corporate Legal Assistant
  • Post-secondary education in legal administration or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office environment and legal-specific technical programs
  • Service oriented, adaptable, and works well in a team environment
  • Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
