Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to assist with the coordination of decommissioning Windows servers. This is a part-time role (15 hours/week). Candidates can be % remote in Canada working core business hours in MST.

Must haves:
  1. 5+ years as a Project Manager coordinating the decommissioning of Windows servers (Windows, Linux)
  2. 5+ years of experience with infrastructure projects
  3. Previous experience working with multiple stakeholders (business, infrastructure, applications)
Nice to haves:
  1. Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to work with various audiences
  2. Documenting requirements and other project required artifacts
  3. Understanding of both the hardware and software components of an IT project
  4. Previous work experience in the public sector or large organization
Responsibilities:
  1. Creation of business case(s) via collaboration with stakeholders
  2. Facilitating requirements gathering sessions and draft recommended solutions based on gathered requirements
  3. Providing direction to other project resources as part of the solution implementation
  4. Knowledge transfer to other resources, where required
  5. Status reporting, including formal reports/presentations, and other project artifacts, as required
  6. Project planning and estimating
  7. Communicating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders
  8. Updating Information Technology management, as required
