Our client, a reputable Toronto firm is currently looking for a Corporate Services Legal Assistant. This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.

  • Office conveniently located in Toronto’s Financial District

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee the scanning, uploading and cataloguing of minute books in anticipation of adoption of new corporate services database program;

- Manage incoming/outgoing minute books as well as filing of documentation in minute books, as required;

- Assist with entry of corporate records/and or newly incorporated entities into corporate management database;

- Assist corporate clerks in posting of corporate services disbursements with accounting department; and

- Other corporate duties as assigned.

Requirements:


- 1+ years of experience as a Corporate Legal Assistant or Law Clerk;

- Successful completion of Legal Assistant Diploma program;

- Experience with Aderant accounting program an asset

- Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook), document management systems (experience with CorpLink/MinuteBox would be an asset);

- Detail-oriented and highly organized

- Demonstrated skills in managing multiple priorities with ease; and
