A highly integrated analyst position within the Crude Supply team focused on the Suncor value chain including in depth exposure to upstream and internal refining businesses. The successful candidate supports team objectives through analysis, presentations and reports relating to Suncor’s crude oil production and sales and/or refinery crude oil purchase plans. This includes planning summaries, operational deviation reports, crude oil movements and pricing as well as overall measures against performance metrics.

Minimum Requirements:

Business or Engineering degree

2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in accounting, engineering or commercial areas

Ability to work well in a highly integrated team environment

Responsibilities:

Monthly profitability/performance calculations, verification and stewarding, and review

Monthly Production/Refinery Plans and maintenance schedules.

Stewardship of Crude Supply KPI’s (including volume plans/actuals, inventory, pricing analytics) on weekly and monthly cadence for various Stakeholders

Ad hoc project support

Location and other Key Details:

This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs

Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
