Orion Construction is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for proposal coordination, marketing collateral design, awards support, and general marketing assistance. Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to gather information and create compelling and winning proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Marketing Collateral Creation: Design and develop corporate, promotional and branding materials such as brochures, banners, advertisements, and project branding assets (ie: project logo and branding guidelines).
  • Awards Support: Support the submission process for industry awards, ensuring all deadlines are met, and submissions are of high quality.
  • General Marketing Assistance: Support company events, including planning, promotion, and on-site coordination. Assist in the development and execution of innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a must.
  • A Graphic Design education or background: is considered a strong asset, the ability to create visually appealing marketing materials, including print media.
  • Construction Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the construction industry, including terminology and industry practices.
  • Public Relations Skills: Ability to craft press releases and manage media relationships is an asset.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Creativity: A creative mindset passionate about developing and implementing innovative marketing solutions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a proposal coordination or marketing role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Graphic design experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
