Your Opportunity

Our Winnipeg office is looking for a Senior Associate / Manager, Business Restructuring and Turnaround Services to join our Corporate Restructuring team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Advise corporations, lenders, creditors and shareholders through financial reviews, business turnarounds and financial restructurings (formal and informal);
  • Prepare integrated cash flow models;
  • Analyze and assess cash flow models, projections, and business plans;
  • Communicate with debtors, creditors, governmental regulators, and the Courts through stakeholder meetings, reports, and Court attendance;
  • Draft and present reports and recommendations for financial institutions, C-suite executives, shareholders, and other stakeholders;
  • Identify, target, and develop referral sources;
  • Assist with practice development assignments;
  • Flexibility to meet with stakeholders during non-business hours.

Experience and education

  • Previous experience and/or an interest in the restructuring field;
  • CPA accounting designation is required;
  • Willingness to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program;
  • Financial modeling skills;
  • Able to liaise well with staff and interested stakeholders;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint);
  • Proven analytical and systematic problem-solving skills;
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills;
  • Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks.
