Seeking professional Associate Producer services for a 16-month contract to support the Media team at The Peoples Church and Living Truth Television.

Department: Media & Communications

Reports to: Producer & Media Manager

Direct Reports: N/A

Status: Contract – 13 months, Mid August 2024 to September 2025, 35 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

The Associate Producer is responsible to support the production of live events and recorded media content, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure creativity, innovation, and brand are thoughtfully integrated to support the mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of The Peoples Church. Reporting directly to the Producer & Media Manager, the Associate Producer collaborates closely with both the Communications team and Media team to deliver media for live events, online platforms and broadcast television. The Associate Producer leads volunteer teams as assigned.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Photo/Video Projects

• Support video content creation for TPC and Living Truth throughout the pre-production, production and post-production phases

• Collaborate closely with the M&C team to share TPC stories in a compelling and relevant way

• Day-to-day producing needs for large projects such as TPC festivals

• Primary TPC photographer – ensure Sundays and major church/ministry one-off events are captured via photo/video and edited for future use

• Videography, including but not limited to: stories, Living Truth segments, social media content, TPC ministries content, seasonal content

• Research and planning

• Lead film shoots (studio or location)

• Other duties as assigned

Sunday Service & Live Event Production

• Team lead for photo/video volunteers, including supporting serve opportunities (recruit, train, schedule and support)

• Prepare and build ProPresenter content

Living Truth Television

• Develop Living Truth show rundowns for editors

• Collect song information for SOCAN and Soundstripe reporting

Audio

• Background music procurement/stem edits, Soundstripe playlist creation

Team

• Participate in team meetings

• Participate in 1-1 meetings with supervisor

Qualifications:

• 2+ years producing and/or media production experience

• Experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Lightroom, Photoshop)

• DEMO REEL/PORTFOLIO – we’d love to see your creativity in action

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of digital media cataloguing systems and demonstrated ability to use new programs and technologies

• Professional, responsive and positive work attitude is essential

• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team, as well as work independently with minimal daily supervision

• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and take responsibility for timely and accurate completion of tasks

• Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Mostly in-office with some remote work

• Occasional evening/weekend required

• Vulnerable Sector clearance required

• Support and understand Shared Mandate (mission, vision, values) and Statement of Faith

• Interact with others regularly (volunteers, staff, TPC congregation)
