We are currently looking for a graduate of Architecture or Technical College who is experienced in the production of Design Development and Working Drawing sets using Revit software for a fast growing and ambitious developer who specializes in Residential and Mixed-use development in the GTA and surrounding areas. This is a fulltime permanent onsite position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create technical content and details to the highest standard of excellence.
  • Produce (as part of a team) Schematic Designs, Design Development, and Construction Drawings.
  • Coordinate between architecture, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate to ensure delivery of projects meets the expectations, deadlines and budgetary constraints.
  • Deliver projects using BIM.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or a University Degree in Architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience in preparation of Design Development, Working Drawings and
  • Details, Bid Packages and Contract Administration.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in BIM/Revit.
  • Experience with mid-rise and high-rise residential buildings.
  • Good knowledge of OBC.
  • OAA license is an asset.
  • Strong technical knowledge of how a building is put together, including coordination between architecture, structural, mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, time-management, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Bluebeam.
  • Assets: CanBIM certification, sustainability experience, and Sketch-up.
  • Language: Beside English, Mandarin is a strong asset
