This position is responsible for maintaining quality standards of hydrovacs after repair work or prior to new unit delivery. The CSR will work closely with the sales and service teams to deliver trucks and support customer needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform visual inspections on hydrovacs prior to customer delivery to ensure work is built to specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct visual and measurement tests.
  • Returns products to service or sales departments for re-work, confirm re-work.
  • Discuss inspection results with those responsible for the work and mentor them to improve the quality of their work.
  • Identify repair and or replacement defects, Report findings to QC Lead
  • Document inspection results by completing quality forms.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Greet customers, identify their needs and demonstrate the product.
  • Take customers for test drives and provide competitive comparisons.
  • Drive trucks to various locations within the region and perform demonstrations, as needed.
  • Obtain orders and contracts for services.
  • Provide training and technical support/troubleshooting on mechanical issues for customers.
  • Assist customers with parts orders as needed.
  • Provide technical assistance during the sales process, as needed.
  • Work with customers and sales team to identify continuous improvement opportunities to ensure maximum productivity and best workflow processes are met.
  • Provide post-service and pre-delivery inspections to ensure proper hydrovac performance.
  • Assist with yard maintenance, Move Equipment as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
  • Perform ride alongs with potential buyers.
  • Climbing in and out of vehicles.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs.
  • Normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a tanker endorsement.
  • tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Hydrovac trucks required.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Successful track record of developing relationships
  • Ability to work independently and with a group.
  • Able to seek help and guidance when needed.
  • Must be able to obtain a passport.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Energetic, customer oriented, and outgoing.
