*JOB DESCRIPTION*
A Licensed Automotive Fleet Mechanic is a skilled member of the Service Department who reports to the Store Manager.
This position would primarily service fleet vehicles.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
A Licensed Automotive Mechanic is responsible for performing the following duties:
* Diagnose and repair passenger vehicles and light trucks through the disassembly of faulty assemblies.
* Repair or replace worn or damaged parts.
* Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups, as per fleet schedule.
* Ensure all equipment used in the Service Department is in good repair.
* Keep his/her work area clean and organized.
The hours in the Service Department are 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
*REQUIREMENTS*
In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
* A valid 310S Certification
* A valid Ontario Driver’s License
* A full suite of tools, including all tools that would be necessary to complete jobs that are assigned to him/her on a daily basis.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
