Contract: Part Time

Job Description

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences for digital platforms. This role involves collaborating with various departments, conducting user research, ensuring brand consistency, and leading design efforts for specific digital products such as the Driver’s App and Site Host Dashboard. The designer will work closely with product managers and developers to bring design visions to life and conduct user testing to enhance digital products.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field
  • 1-3 years of UX/UI design experience
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, InVision)
  • Understanding of responsive design and ability to prototype interactive interfaces
  • Experience with user research and usability testing
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada (valid work permit for international candidates)

Preferred:

  • Masters degree in Design, HCI, or related field
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in the energy sector or related fields
