We have one casual position available to begin August 6, 2024.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Facilitate student learning online, in class and laboratory settings.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate student performance and progress.
  • Work with students to improve practical skills.
  • Prepare and facilitate laboratory activities.
  • Deliver lab and theory courses and maintain student records.
  • Update course materials.
  • Participate in program evaluation.

WHAT YOU BRING 

  • Bachelor’s degree or PharmD in Pharmacy.
  • Current clinical registration with ACP as a pharmacist is required.
  • Clinical experience: at least one year of full-time practice experience or the equivalent in part-time experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Maintain active licensure in good standing as a with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
  • Active involvement to maintain currency of skills in actual practice settings as required for program accreditation by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience working on Moodle or willingness to learn this learning management system.
  • A solid understanding of and appreciation for the pharmacy technician profession.
  • Proficiency with Kroll software is an asset.
  • Previous instructional experience in a post-secondary environment and course work in adult education, with evidence of student-centered teaching excellence, is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

SALARY: Reflective upon what you bring, AKA your education and experience. This is a casual opportunity which includes 11.2% in lieu of vacation and benefits.


This is a Faculty role, and the pay range is quite large, check out the Faculty Collective Agreement Appendix A to better understand how pay is determined.
