The Role
Our Financial Crimes team navigates through a fast-paced environment and knows how to switch gears to adapt to any scenario. They’re motivated leaders who want to make things better, simpler, and stronger. The Senior Specialist, Financial Crimes is dedicated to the prevention, detection and reporting of financial crime activity to protect Neo and its customers. What you’ll be doing
- Help our crime fighting team to by playing a key role in catching bad guys and exploring creative ways to safeguard our customers
- You will be part of a functional workstream responsible for in-depth reviews to identify complex financial crime activity across multiple product lines
- Participate in the collection of evidence and information to be used for multiple purposes including incident reports, regulatory reporting, management information, and process improvements
- Provide insights to the Fraud Management to inform Fraud strategy, ensuring key controls are effective
- Foster a collaborative environment with internal stakeholders as required, to ensure issues affecting Neo and our customers are escalated and resolved
What we are looking for
- You have 2+ years working in a Fraud-related role - this could be insurance, banking, insurtech, fintech, law enforcement, or other fields
- You're capable of visually identifying and communicating patterns that do not fit known event patterns
- You like to role play, putting yourself in the shoes of criminals and trying to think as they do so you can better defend against them
- Experience with SQL and data analysis is an asset
- You are highly analytical, have strong attention to detail and a proven ability to tackle complex problems
