Compensation

  • You can earn up to 42% commission per deal. 
  • Gas expenses are 100% covered by the company. 
  • Marketing material such as Real Estate signs, Lockboxes, Business Cards, Brochures, Notepads, and Presentation Folders, will be provided to the Leasing Agent by the company 
  • Full training that will cover the basics of renting out and leasing a property, company protocols, best practices for sales, and other relevant topics. All training materials are provided by the company
  • Following the initial training session, there will be a period of shadowing
  • Royal York Property Management will provide all property owner information and tenant lead generation
  • You will have access to our extensive head office and administrative support which is open 24/7: We will organize your calendar, schedule and confirm all meetings
  • Our professional support staff will handle all your phone calls and manage your emails
  • All tenant screening and payment processes are handled by head office
  • We will process rental applications and facilitate the leasing out of properties by collecting and submitting all relevant documentation

As a Leasing Agent, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, conducting in-person property showings and assisting with the leasing process. Balancing the needs of property owners and tenants, you'll strive to meet occupancy and rental targets. You'll also contribute to a positive office atmosphere, and uphold the company's image through your activities. Leasing Agents are an essential part of our dynamic team, primarily responsible for the leasing of our diverse portfolio of properties.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a deep understanding of the local rental market. This role requires you to be a proficient multitasker, organized, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-person tours of available properties to potential tenants
  • Communicate effectively with prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Follow up on leads for potential tenants
  • Collaborate with the property management team to address maintenance issues
  • Assist in evaluating the market price for properties that need to be leased
  • Meet and exceed rental targets and other key performance indicators
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere in the office and represent the company professionally
  • Manage and coordinate leasing of properties in coordination with different departments in the company
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Exceptional sales skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and outgoing personality
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Real Estate experience is not required
  • An understanding of the real estate industry, including laws, policies, and best practices is good to have
  • Must have an iPhone 12 or newer
