An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and methodical Senior Manager of Business Development. This role is perfect for someone who is sales savvy and client service-oriented, with a passion for helping clients with their financial planning. The successful candidate will work closely with the client relations manager, reporting directly to the CEO and CFO.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement financial planning strategies to meet clients' long-term goals
  • Create and execute plans to retain our aging client base and develop relationships with the second and third generations of existing clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and build prospects relationships to convert them into clients
  • Utilize social media platforms effectively for lead generation and brand promotion
  • Demonstrate expertise in various financial products and account types to provide tailored advice
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage client information and interactions efficiently, with a preference for Salesforce experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business development strategies and client satisfaction

What you bring:

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or working towards completion of CFP is required
  • Proven experience of 5-8 years in financial planning, client retention strategies, and relationship development
  • Strong understanding of financial products, account types, and the asset management industry
  • Experience in using social media for business development and lead generation
  • Proficient in CRM software, Salesforce knowledge preferred but not mandatory
  • CRM implementation experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field

Salary: CAD108,000 - CAD130,000 per year + 15-20% bonus
