The Opportunity

Tundra has an opening for an Inside Technical Sales, Valves and Actuation, based in Calgary or Edmonton. The successful candidate will be a sales professional who reflects their corporate commitment to being responsive to their customer's unique needs. They thrive in an environment that is customer-focused and is nimble at maintaining a high degree of contact with customers throughout the order cycle.

The Role

  • Facilitate customers' orders and quotes by offering technical guidance and sourcing the best solution for their requirements.
  • Communicate with cross-functional departments to execute and meet order expectations.
  • Liaise with manufacturing to ensure the customer's needs are being met.
  • Build long-term customer relationships while managing commitments accordingly.
  • Address requests and inquiries, especially those related to warranty items and service-related issues.

The Candidate

  • Experience in inside technical sales role supporting valve and actuation products.
  • Experience in pipe, flange, and fittings would be an asset.
  • Technical Engineering Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are mandatory in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Experience working with an ERP would be an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
