HubSpoke is seeking experienced Cybersecurity Consultants to join our team. You will support the review and analysis of various processes and technologies within the Federal Government.

Who you are
You are someone who has worked as an IT Security Engineer or a Threat and Risk Analyst with a focus on Federal Government departments, specifically in the defense space. You are passionate about advising clients on best practices, ensuring the highest security standards.

What you will do
• Review, analyze, and apply relevant IT security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Identify and assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to IT systems, cloud technologies and networks.
• Develop reports and assessments including data security analysis, threat assessments, risk assessments, and security briefings.
• Conduct certification activities such as developing security certification plans, verifying security safeguards, and conducting security testing and evaluation.
• Conduct accreditation activities including reviewing certification results, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards, and granting operational approvals.
• Review, analyze, and apply networking protocols, secure IT architectures, and security protocols.
• Manage IT security configurations and analyze security tools and techniques.
• Provide advisories and reports based on security data analysis.
• Prepare technical reports supporting IT security solutions and implementations.
• Develop and deliver training materials relevant to the respective categories. 

Qualifications
• 10+ years' experience as a Cybersecurity Consultant (performing many of the tasks listed above)
• 7+ years of experience working for the Federal Government of Canada
• A minimum of two projects working on National Defense initiatives.
• Possess Government Clearance at the Secret Level.
• A university degree in a related technology discipline
