Expectations

To excel in the role, you should have a solid understanding of the business and technology, strong attention to detail and the desire to support and work closely with coworker and customers.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  1. Master or Bachelors Degree in:
  2. Engineering within the area of E&I or Automation
  3. Chemical Engineering within the area of Paper Making or Combustion
  4. Five to Ten years of experience in the fields of:
  5. Pulp&Paper
  6. Power or other heavy Process industry
  7. Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a Project lead position in the above-mentioned fields. (I.e Project Lead Engineer.) or One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in a Project Manager position in the above-mentioned fields.
  8. Knowledge of Automation Control systems in the above-mentioned fields.
  9. (Knowledge of Valmet DNA and other Valmet Control systems is a strong advantage.)
  10. Being able to fluently communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  11. Due to our business in Mexico and in the French speaking part of Canada Knowledge in Spanish or French is an advantage, but not a requirement.
