3 Step Recruitment is assisting an Abbotsford, BC client in the search of a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator.

As a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator, you will manage payroll and benefit reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely data reporting. This role involves payroll systems knowledge, data analysis, and reporting tools. Additionally, you will provide HR administrative support and act as a payroll backup.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and verify payroll data from various systems.

  • Develop and generate standard and custom payroll reports.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Update and audit employee benefit programs in the HRIS and related websites.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance HR/Payroll reporting efficiency.

  • Assist with annual information returns and benefit remittances.

  • Address employee payroll and benefit inquiries.

  • Coordinate benefit enrollments and changes.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with HRIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus.

Education:

  • Diploma in Accounting or a related field.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll/benefits administration.
