Enseri is searching for a Product Manager for our client, a consumer electronics company, in Markham. This role is 100% in-office.
Our client is dedicated to creating innovative solutions for their customers in a highly competitive market and we're looking for someone that can: work under the guidance of directors within the organization on everything from ideation to product launch; respond quickly to rapidly evolving opportunities; and identify conflicts that could lead to issues at the time of launch while weighing the needs of separate stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage product line concepts, requirements, and development
- Ideate and develop the next generation of products under the guidance of company directors
- Make critical decisions on product requirements internally and with suppliers especially when certain requirements impact other product lines
- Provide guidance and recommendations on technology direction.
- Lead and contribute to technology development activities, including writing RFIs and RFQs.
- Develop next-gen ideas on how consumers can and will interact with their devices in their homes and businesses.
- Evaluate new technologies based on feasibility, performance, and marketability aided by R&D team insights and reporting.
- Guide the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to product requirement documents and finally to HW/SW/FW approval.
- Translate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Facilitate troubleshooting meetings between cross-functional teams to resolve all technical issues as per agreed-upon project timelines and on budget.
- Analyze system/software/firmware logs and manage meetings with R&D to drive toward successful issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and Engineering to meet the overall goals of the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or another relevant area.
- Track record in balancing product priorities against budget and timelines.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to clearly communicate with various technical teams including HW, SW, and Cloud developers.
- Solid understanding of the hardware and software development cycle.
- Proven track record of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working closely with technical and non-technical team members.
