ABOUT POSITION

Spare Parts Representative reports to the Manager Spare Parts and Production Support Services, you will be responsible for proactively servicing Raute's customers by developing, generating, and completing spare parts sales orders for North American customers. This role may have a hybrid working condition of performing the tasks from our office in Delta, BC as well as evolving to call upon offsite locations, performing customer site visits in the Pacific Northwest region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Parts sales by fostering excellent customer service while actively managing all customer requirements and issues, including preventative maintenance support
  • Manage sales cycle from receiving quotation inquiries to following up after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop and manage an effective organizational structure to track customer service needs, collecting feedback with every point of contact to proactively pursue sales opportunities
  • Cultivate strong customer relations with clients, and coordinating and following up with any issues with the Customer Service Manager as required
  • Meet and exceed growth sales targets
  • Continuously improve upon processes and offer solutions to be the best support organization and increase overall efficiency and effectiveness
  • Continual update of technical knowledge through education workshops and reviewing technical publications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications is required
  • Education in technology with familiarity in design and estimating or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity of components associated with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
  • At least 3+ years of working experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working with wood processing machinery an asset
  • ERP systems experience preferred
  • Must meet all Health and Safety standards and lift a minimum of 20kg
  • Must possess a valid passport and driver’s license
