Your Contribution:
In the role of Human Resources Business Partner, you will work closely with managers and employees in implementing HR programs and strategies, and supporting the achievement of our business objectives for our business units located in Ontario. As a primary contact for all HR business related situations for your assigned client group, your mandate will consist of:

- Provide Managers with HR expertise and assistance in people management within a changing environment;
- Provide a proactive partnership to generate leadership skills and behaviors, supporting commitment and a positive working environment;
- Participate with HR colleagues to develop programs and solutions adapted to our business needs and internal customers’ specific requirements;
- Act as a change agent in the implementation and deployment of HR programs and policies as well as in other business projects, which includes supporting their delivery through training and on-going coaching to management;
- Oversee the performance management and compensation programs for the assigned client group;
- Drive HR compliance, work injury follow-up and ensure consistency of HR practices and policies;
- Support management for workforce planning;
- Ensure continuous understanding of employees and management needs and recommend appropriate solutions and actions to resolve situations;
- Provide coaching and counsel to management on general employee relations, as well as disciplinary and performance issues, including investigations;
- Participate in talents identification programs, coordinate and monitor succession plans;
- Identify development needs for people in your client group;

Your Profile:

- Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations;
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner
- Practical knowledge of employment, Human Rights, Labour Laws and Health and Safety;
- Excellent English writing skills;
- Member of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA).
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
