Al Premium Food Mart is a large-scale food supermarket chain in Canada. We supply varieties of food that caters to mainstream tastes as well as other ethnic groups like East Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean), Southeast Asian (Malaysian, Thai, Filipino) and South Asian (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka. We operate three Al Premium grand stores in GTA. We also team up with Walmart and by now operate 11 in-stores in Walmart (9 in GTA and 2 in Vancouver BC). Our cooperation with Walmart is still fast expanding.

Our Head Office is currently hiring: Marketing and Administrative Coordinator

Job Description:

The Marketing and Administrative Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives and ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and eager to contribute to both marketing projects and day-to-day administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Duties:

  • Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans and brand strategies to enhance our market presence.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete marketing assignments and projects.
  • Manage social media accounts, including creating and scheduling posts.
  • Coordinate content creation for newsletters, blogs, and website updates.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Administrative Duties:

  • Additional administrative or data entry duties might apply

Requirement:

  • College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Previous experience in Branding and Social Media Marketing as an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite as an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
