Overview:
The Supervisor - Track and Trace role is a critical and important member of our Transportation national department, and we are looking for a dedicated and driven team member to contribute to our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Helps coordinate a staff of 4-7 people to track and trace all transportation activities in Canada and the USA.
  • Ensure team is entering data correctly and efficiently into the transportation software.
  • Constantly reviews to ensure information is real-time.
  • Acts with a sense of urgency when any issues arise and strives to understand and correct/mitigate such issues.
  • Investigate and provide incident reports for any Safety Incidents.
  • Assists with staffing, which includes hiring, training, health and safety, compliance, and knowledge of all road laws and regulations.
  • Provides office assistance and support to all logistical needs in the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
  • 2-3 years related direct supervisory experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and have own transportation as the work location is not on any bus routes.
  • Previous logistical experience required, preferably in dispatching.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • High proficiency in all types of computer software such as Google Office, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Experience using transport software considered an asset.
  • A self-starter who can assess work volumes and ensure timely completion of prioritized tasks.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient at multitasking and problem-solving with clear examples of these skills.
