YAM Financial Solutions (YAM FS) is a boutique Insurance broker offering products to enhance the Wealth Management experience, catering to affluent Canadians and institutions. YAM FS operates from its head office in Toronto. YAM’s competitive advantage is derived from its focus on client service and comprehensive wealth solution offerings to clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Collaborates and works closely with Team Manager by providing support for the administration of policies and preparing presentations.

● Initiates telephone contact with the client and personalizes the interaction with the goal to create a comfortable and trustworthy environment, favorable for selling insurance policies.

● Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

● Capitalizes on all sales opportunities, solicitation and product offers.● Prospects data, pre-qualification questions/answers and next steps.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

● Life and Health Insurance license.● 5 years experience in insurance administration and client services.● Manage the team administrative and service responsibilities with Apexa and FSRA (our insurance

regulator)● Manage the daily contact with insurance underwriters through emails, calls or online access ● Manage insurance renewal of Seg fund reset process with different providers.● Manage all client service request and booking of appointment for senior insurance agents.● Create regular sales, service and budget summaries.● Work with marketing or management to manage different marketing campaigns. This includes

managing communications to be posted on our website or distributed to clients and advisors.● Develop a better understanding of estate planning, including different tools available to YAM FS,

to effectively be part of sales process.● Help insurance agents complete insurance applications, facilitating visits to medical professionals

(when required)and completing the detailed requirements being requested by the insurance underwriter.

●● Strong understanding of social media/ technology.● College diploma in a related field.

SKILLS:

● Interest in insurance and investments.● Well organized, detail oriented, focused on accuracy & time management ● Enjoys analytical work

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

● Undergraduate degree in business (specialization in finance or accounting is an asset) ● 3-5 years of experience in a related role within the insurance, financial services or investment

industry is an asset● Life and Health Insurance license
