The Headlines:

In the role of Sr. Inventory Control Analyst – Contractor working in Toronto, you will be responsible for ensuring all inventory transactions in Brewery Warehouse and 3rd party warehouses are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure inventory records are accurate daily/weekly/monthly to reduce and eliminate Inventory cycle count losses.

The Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 3rd party warehouse inspections, including periodic cycle counts, to ensure inventory control practices and proper date code rotation are followed.
  • Analyze inventory levels in all ON warehouses by SKU to identify opportunities to minimize Finished Goods Loss (FGL). Provide feedback to Supply Planning team to assist in adjusting production schedules and move inventory between warehouses to help ensure proper SKU by SKU inventory levels in warehouses.
  • Work with warehouse teams and Manager, Distribution Projects & Transformation to identify and develop inventory control process improvements.
  • Lead quarterly Physical Inventory Count process in Brewery Warehouse and Ontario 3rd party warehouses.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Warehouse teams, Supply Planning Team, Dist. Finance Controller, Brewery Packaging Dept., other Brewery Warehouses.
  • Be an integral support to the business for managing, monitoring, and driving down full goods obsolescence while delivering world class OTIF.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with front line workers, supervisors, and managers both internally and externally in the pursuit and implementation of medium business objectives.
  • Broad based managerial and leadership skills to successfully lead and direct individuals.

The Other Qualifications:

  • Inventory management knowledge and application of enterprise inventory control principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Detailed knowledge of supply chain/logistics systems and processes.
  • 3 to 5 years inventory management experience in a warehousing supply chain preferably in the beverage industry and/or consumer products.
  • Either possess a Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Business or have equivalent work experience.
