We're a progressive, compassionate clinic with a state-of-the-art facility and a dedicat ed team of 7 doctors and 1 1 RVTs . We provide high-quality care to our beloved patients using the latest equipment, including in-house labs, digital radiology, and therapeutic laser. Our large tech-to-doctor ratio means that we can offer a team medicine approach and utilize our technologists to their full potential.
We're not just about technical skills here at Kamloops Veterinary Clinic - we're passionate about helping our team members grow in their careers. With a weekly visit from a Board-Certified surgeon, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with them, if you’re interested in surgery . About the Role
As our ideal candidate you will:
- Enjoy rotations through anesthesia, surgery, dentistry and outpatient care.
- Be a member in good standings with the BCVTA
- A strong work ethic within a team and independently
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing v arious diagnostic test (administer and analyze)
- Assist Veterinarians with surgical and therapeutic procedures
- Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia
- Document and maintain accurate veterinary medical records
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Including all tasks authorized and attributed to Veterinary Technologist professionals
