The Role

  • Preparing, posting, verifying, and recording payments and transactions related to accounts receivable with utmost accuracy.
  • Resolving collections by ensuring payments are made in full.
  • Reconcile monthly Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Auditing tenant accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Other general accounting tasks, daily reports, and special projects
  • Manage entire accounts staff to achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals.
  • Maintain current A/R accounts. Investigate, adjust, and resolve any outstanding balances.
  • Rent collection and management of rent arrears. 
  • Using a high degree of discretion and keeping all information completely confidential.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in MS Office applications and a demonstrated ability to quickly understand new software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication - both oral and written
  • Ability to prioritize tasks independently.
  • Proficient in excel.
  • Property Management experience is an asset.

Job type – full time

Schedule – 7.5-hour shift

Salary: 43K – 48K
