TalentWorld is recruiting Bilingual Operations Officer I in Montreal, QC for one of its clients.

Bilingual Operations Officer I Key Responsibilities

  • Execute transactions accurately and timely according to established guidelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Investigate and resolve customer adjustments, payment reversals, and global money transfers.
  • Perform reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to validate information and process adjustments within defined authority levels.
  • Escalate operational issues or processing challenges to appropriate functions or partners for resolution.
  • Contribute to analysis and reporting on critical projects or special initiatives aimed at improving operating models and service quality.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of internal and industry regulations, trends, and emerging issues to ensure compliance and due diligence.
  • Manage workload effectively to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity.
  • Actively participate in reviewing internal processes and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management) relevant to operations activities.
  • Understanding of MM and FX Products (e.g. Options, Foreign Exchange spots and forwards, Money Market deposits and loans)

Bilingual Operations Officer I Qualifications:

  • Bilingual is a must (French and English)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a Trade Processing related role, preferably with exposure to cash products such as Loans, Deposits, Swaps, and Forwards.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in Excel being essential.
  • Knowledge of Global and WSS platforms would be an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.

Employment Details:

  • Salary: $25 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid
  • Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
  • Location: Montreal, QC
