Marketers on Demand is looking to recruit an experienced HR Specialist for a great client of ours in Toronto This role puts you in the driver’s seat that ranges from HR policies, staffing and recruiting, employee resolutions, supporting senior management, and handling special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support employee relations issues for employees and recommend proactive measures.
  2. Provide support to managers on HR policies; coaching, performance management, performance improvement plans, compensation queries, etc.
  3. Conduct exit interviews; gather information and ensure exit procedures are followed.
  4. Deliver and provide support for HR programs, activities, policies, procedures, and compliance including: Employee Relations, Employee Onboarding, Leave of Absence coordination, Template and Documentation support, system inquiries and support, creation/maintenance of documentation internally.
  5. Support the team as needed with the day-to-day compliance of policies and queries related to legal cases and investigations.

Key Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of HR experience in a corporate environment.
  2. Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation for Canada.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Proficient with MS Office.
  5. CHRP designation would be an asset.

Please note, this is a hybrid position that requires you to be on-site twice a week.
