Our seasoned team of engineers, project managers and other specialists also put their energy into the construction of wind farms and to the benefit of hydroelectric projects such as dams, power stations, tunnels and dikes. Reporting to the Project Manager and Project Director, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the following:

  1. Preparation of drawings, specifications, reports, and other technical documents for electrical distribution, protection, controls, and other auxiliary systems for dam and hydroelectric projects;
  2. Ensure design compliance with guidelines, codes, regulations, and other reference documentation;
  3. Assist project managers in the technical planning, control, and coordination of projects;
  4. Work closely with technical teams to coordinate engineering work;
  5. Ensure quality assurance of deliverables;
  6. Evaluation of electrical/controls systems, products, and components;
  7. Report writing and equipment recommendation/selection;
  8. Incorporation of engineering changes into design;
  9. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering;
  2. Registered member of EGBC is required;
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction industry;
  4. Experience in hydroelectricity and dams is considered an asset;
  5. Strong computer skills with various software experience, including MS Office, BlueBeam, ACC, etc.;
  6. Bilingualism, French and English, would be considered an asset.
