Summary:

DMC is Currently looking for an Marketing Assistant to join our team in our Vaughan Office. The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the marketing team in implementing effective marketing strategies that promote DMC's services. This position involves coordinating various marketing activities, contributing to campaigns, and ensuring the consistency of DMC’s brand message across all channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills, with a flair for creative thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to produce and distribute marketing materials.
• Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Create, edit, and manage engaging content for social media, the company website, and proposals.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all marketing channels.
• Schedule and manage posts on social media platforms, engaging with the online community.
• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Prepare reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and market trends.
• Support the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows, and corporate events.
• Coordinate event logistics, promotional materials, and on-site activities to enhance brand presence.
• Handle administrative tasks such as processing invoices, purchase orders, and managing inventory of marketing materials.
• Design visually engaging collateral including, but not limited to corporate brochures, department brochures, and trade show resources.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide promotional materials for events.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong command of the English language. Spanish or French considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to take direction and complete tasks with a keen attention to detail.
• The ability to deliver projects on time, while managing multiple deadlines.
• Event planning experience
• Photography skills, including photo editing, would be considered an asset.
• The ability to exercise discretion, demonstrate confidentiality, and always represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
