The Opportunity:

As the Accounts Payable Clerk you will be responsible for processing passenger claims and payments in accordance to company policy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, enter and post invoices in Great Plains and process payments (EFT, Cheque, Wire).
  • Communicate with vendors/customers and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Reconcile returned funds and communicate with operations team to correct customer information.
  • Record all cheques, EFTs, credit card payments and wire transfers. Prepare for mailing and maintain filing of accounts payable.
  • Communicate with Operations team daily on status of payments and make any adjustments as requested.
  • Verify transactions to comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage and distribute incoming e-mails.
  • Other duties and projects as requested.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in accounts payable.
  • Advanced in MS Office products – Excel.
  • Effective team player.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented and consistently accurate.
  • Able to work independently, effectively and constructively under pressure.
  • Achievement oriented; must be able to juggle multiple tasks, tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with change.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
