Qualifications:

We are growing and looking for a passionate Accounting / Office Assistant to join our team. Your overall organization, punctuality, involvement, and drive to perform will contribute to advancement within our team. You must have a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and the following requirements to be considered for the role. We are ideally looking for a full-time position but would consider part-time for the right candidate.

  • 2 years + of experience in an accounting administration role
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of Sage
  • Strong organizational skills including time management
  • Proven interpersonal skills along with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and complete assignments on time
  • Able to work both in a team and with minimal supervision
  • Must work with a high attention to detail and quality
  • Working knowledge of Google Docs / Google Sheets is considered an asset
  • Accounting-based education is considered an asset

The successful applicant will:

  • Manage all accounts payable functions and some accounts receivables as needed
  • Manage license renewals, digital filing, and other administrative functions as needed
  • Various data entry and reporting duties
  • Backup reception duties (phones, mail, and courier set up)
  • Maintain office supplies (general office, kitchen, safety, janitorial, etc.)
  • Maintain office contracts (cleaners, coffee, water, catering, etc.)
  • Provide administrative support to project managers and technical personnel as needed
