They can provide fantastic project exposure without the requirement for travel across the UK. Due to an increase in their project portfolio, they are now recruiting for an Estimator to manage large multi-product tender offers and produce accurate cost estimates.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Estimator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate estimation of costs and the preparation of tender documentation for submission to potential clients. Main duties will include the preparation of enquiry documents, sourcing and obtaining material and sub-contractor quotations, the accurate calculation of preliminaries, and participation in site surveys and final negotiations.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be degree educated in a construction-related discipline and will have at least 3 years of previous experience in an estimating role. You will be keen to make a move to a contractor that will offer a long-term career view in the façade sector. A high level of competence in all Microsoft Office packages will be a necessity for the role, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative. A confident and outgoing personality will be beneficial for dealing directly with clients and their design teams.
