Role Description

This is a Monday to Friday full-time on-site role for a Practice Manager at Yorkville Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Toronto. We're conveniently located near the Bay subway station. The Practice Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, manage staff, coordinate patient care, handle administrative tasks, and ensure the smooth functioning of the practice.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or dental practice management
  • Leadership experience with specialty dental corporations is a plus
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a must
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in office software and technology
  • Experience in staff training and development
  • Relevant certification/degree in healthcare management is a plus, and a bachelor's in public health is an asset
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance daily operations, ensuring optimal productivity and operational excellence, while driving organic patient growth.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the admin team
  • Manage payroll administration; oversee accounts receivable process
  • Strong business acumen and extensive experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Willingness to work varied hours to align with business needs
