Do you have project or technical leadership experience and a passion for data management? This is a dynamic role where you will apply your knowledge of various project management and agile practices and use your leadership experience to deliver data management products to business teams.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the full life cycle of product delivery including intake and evaluating initiatives, exploring feasibility, and working closely with data product teams and business stakeholders. If you have project delivery experience and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment, this could be a great opportunity for you to help enable comprehensive self-serve data and analytics solutions into our organization

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Practice(s) or equivalent work experience
  • Eight years’ experience in information/data management or data product delivery
  • Five years’ experience in a project or technical leadership capacity
  • Five years’ experience with Project Management methodologies and Agile practices and their application to data programs / projects
  • Ability to work with and manage business stakeholders, helping to guide and influence decisions that are aligned to business strategy
Responsibilities:
  • Work with business and teams to prioritize and execute projects throughout the project lifecycle using Agile practices.
  • Participate in communication of data outputs to stakeholders and act as a bridge between business areas and data specialists.
  • Share insights with business stakeholders and collect inputs to verify and iterate results.
  • Facilitates initial data discovery, exploration, and value identification phases
  • Collaborate and lead various data vendor partners to support solution delivery
Location and other Key Details:
  • You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
  • This is an office based role,Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
