Job Description
- Overseeing and leading the firms’ OR&R framework, providing support and guidance to the Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Operational Risk Management (ORM) team manager.
- Responsibility for the establishment and effectiveness of ORM and BCP assessment and ongoing monitoring and reporting programs
- Escalation point for risk tracking and managing business stakeholders to ensure compliance with OR&R remediation programs
- Oversight and direction of ORM and BCM teams providing strategic direction to the Operations and Lines of Business Heads ensuring effective resilience of their products and services
- Collaborating with other second-line functions, including Compliance, Information Security and other functions, to ensure compliance with OR&R-related regulatory requirements
- Building and maintaining close collaboration between OR&R and other Risk functions, including Enterprise Risk Management, Banking Risk Management and Fraud Risk Management towards the development and implementation of an enhanced OR&R framework
- Provide oversight over first line control functions with respect Data Protection, Data Governance and Third Party Management ensuring their programs align with OR&R
- Close collaboration with Change and Project Management functions as well as Lines of Business / products heads for business transformation
- Overseeing and supporting the team in the planning and execution of OR&R scenario analysis exercises, providing critical guidance and challenge on same
- Supporting the Head of Risk for department wide, or inter-department projects and initiatives
- Degree / Post-graduate degree in finance, risk, business or a related discipline
- Professional qualification in finance, risk, business or a related discipline would be advantageous
- Ideally over 15 years’ experience (Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience) in a Risk / Operational Resilience role within a fund administration setting is preferred
