The Job

As the Office Manager, you are essential to the efficiency of office operations and ensuring an exceptional patient experience. You will:

  • Oversee daily office operations for 3 locations including clinic staff.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development of administrative, clinical, and support staff.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff to ensure a collaborative culture.
  • Prepare and maintain staff schedules and attendance.
  • Maintain inventory of office and clinic supplies.
  • Handle dental office financials including budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, RCDSO, ODA) and industry standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices for dental clinic operations.
  • Contribute to development and implementation of strategic plans for business growth and development.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on initiatives for practice expansion.
  • Other tasks as required.

  • Proven experience managing dental office operations, ideally for multiple locations.
  • Extensive experience in people management including recruitment, training, scheduling, etc.
  • Experience with facility management including inventory control.
  • Proficiency with managing finances for dental offices, including budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, OSHA, RCDSO, ODA dental board regulations)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Solid knowledge of dental office procedures and best practices.
  • Commitment to positive patient relations and maintenance of patient records.
  • Knowledge and experience with patient payment processing, verifying insurance coverage, etc.
