About this role

We are recruiting for an Electrical Planner to join our Project Planning Services team. Here's how your role will strengthen our team:

  1. This position is a great opportunity for those with a background in electrical construction.
  2. Your responsibilities:
    1. Produce installation drawings for field teams to allow for efficient install of electrical systems on a project.
    2. Interpret construction drawings including electrical, architectural, mechanical and structural.
    3. Work in an office environment and utilize computer programs to efficiently produce the installation drawings.
  3. Your experiences and skills:
    1. Must be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or journey electrician with red seal ticket.
    2. Must have a minimum 4-5 years of field experience with:
      • Conduit Bending & Racking
      • Wire Installation
      • Distribution installation is an asset
    3. High attention to detail.
    4. Positive attitude.
    5. Willing to learn or re-learn methods of planning.
    6. Good communication skills.
    7. Passionate about research & fine detailing within the planning scope.
    8. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
    9. Adaptable, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    10. Should enjoy working with computers and be literate with Outlook, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, File Navigation.
    11. Solid understanding of the CEC.
