Our client operates in the Inventory and Freight solutions industry. With offices all over the world, Australia is the next location they have set sight on The offer a range of solutions that focus on effective and cost-efficient management of inventory holdings.
Job Description
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement requirements, including inventory needs, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or delays.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, including delivery performance, quality control, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.
- Analysis on procurement activities
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Proficiency in using procurement software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand forecasting is desirable.
