We seek a Messaging Platform Specialist to join one of our client’s dynamic teams. As a Messaging Platform Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support for Apache Pulsar implementations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the development and optimization of their messaging platform.

This role is tailored for individuals with a strong foundation in modern coding languages such as C#, Python, Java, C++, etc., and a passion for ensuring messaging systems' seamless operation and enhancement

The ideal candidate is a team player with strong analytical and technical skills and can communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders. They must be comfortable working in an agile environment and can take initiative.

Challenges you’ll be responsible for:

  • Offer technical support, troubleshoot, and resolve Apache Pulsar implementation issues.
  • Develop and manage proactive monitoring solutions for issue identification and resolution.
  • Optimize Pulsar configurations and code for improved performance and efficiency.
  • Provide stakeholders with authentication and authorization details for accessing Pulsar.
  • Develop Azure pipelines for automating Pulsar deployments.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Train internal teams and clients on Pulsar usage, best practices, and troubleshooting

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science
  • 2+ years of software development or programming experience
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture concepts and data structures
  • Good experience in either C#, Python, Java, C++, or other modern programming languages
  • Experience with a messaging platform like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or Apache Pulsar
  • Exposure to cloud services like Azure Cloud Services or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Detail-oriented work style
