Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise wide data optimization, integration & governance initiatives in the Oil & Gas Sector. (Req: 8509)

Calgary candidates for 1 year contract, hybrid work (4 days per week, downtown Calgary)

Must Have:

  • 6+ years experience as Data Analyst or Data Management consultant
  • Experience with large scale data optimization, integration or business process initiatives
  • Experience with Azure data platforms and infrastructure
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Spotfire
  • Experience one or more of the following data analysis tools or languages: SQL, Python, R or SAS

Nice to Have:

  • SAP Experience/Knowledge
  • HRIS/Workday Experience
  • ETRM experience (Allegro, RightAngle or other)
  • Oil & Gas Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Support the integration, optimization, modernization and sustainably governing of data management systems
  • Migrate legacy systems to a defined modern standard, eliminating redundant costs, and increasing the quality of data assets and business processes
  • Identify gaps, and develop strategies for data integration, optimization, and modernization.
  • Analyze existing data management systems, processes, and technologies to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for changes
