As the Maintenance and Operations Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of Cape Smokey’s ski hill, which includes a gondola and diverse activities. With a solid background in ski resort maintenance management, you will evaluate policies, control budgets, and lead staff training efforts effectively.
Key Responsibilities: • Implement policies for optimal ski hill operations • Monitor and control revenue and expenditures • Recruit and train a dedicated maintenance team • Plan snowmaking and maintenance schedules • Negotiate with vendors and plan events
Requirements: • Minimum 5 years in ski resort maintenance management • Relevant college diploma or Bachelor’s Degree • Excellent communication and analytical skills • Strong leadership in health and safety • Flexible schedule for maintenance tasks required
