Key Account Manager - Mining & Energy Staffing

The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our clients workforce. You will focus on growing and developing existing clients, as well as generating new business by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies.


The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, understanding their recruitment needs, and providing tailored staffing solutions. Leveraging your experience in the staffing industry, you will collaborate closely with clients to develop strategic hiring plans, identify key talent requirements, and execute recruitment strategies with a team of full-cycle Mining & Energy recruiters to fulfill their staffing needs effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their unique staffing requirements, and aligning our services to meet their business objectives
  • Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and discovery to understand evolving hiring needs and anticipate future requirements
  • Provide consultative guidance to clients on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices to support informed decision-making
  • Prepare budgets for quarterly LEQs and annual sales forecasts
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with clients to maximize profitability and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the staffing landscape to proactively adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge
  • Share your KPI target and achievements quarterly with Mining & Energy team
  • Effectively utilize Brunel's CRM


Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in account management within the staffing industry, with a focus on building and nurturing client relationships
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
