Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Building Operator/Maintenance professional located in Toronto, ON. The role involves maintaining building systems and equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Daily responsibilities include conducting inspections, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems. The Building Operator/Maintenance professional will also address work orders, respond to emergencies, and monitor compliance with safety standards and regulations. Qualifications Proficiency in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systemsExperience with general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and minor repairsUnderstanding of safety procedures, workplace hazards, and compliance regulationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detailGood communication and organizational skills to effectively liaise with tenants, vendors, and property managementAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentRelevant certifications (e.g. Building Operator or Facilities Maintenance certification) are an assetPrevious experience in building operations or property maintenance is preferred
